These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Ferntree Gully Children’s Centre website and the enrolment of children in care provided by Ferntree Gully Children’s Centre (“the Centre”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing this website or enrolling a child, families and users agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About Ferntree Gully Children’s Centre

Ferntree Gully Children’s Centre is a family-owned early childhood education and care service located in Ferntree Gully, Victoria. The Centre provides Long Day Care and Funded Kindergarten programs in accordance with relevant Victorian and Australian regulatory frameworks.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, submitting an enquiry, booking a tour, or enrolling a child, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree, you should refrain from using this website or proceeding with enrolment.

3. Enrolment and Attendance

  • Enrolment is subject to availability and completion of all required documentation.

4. Fees, Payments, and Subsidies

  • Fees are payable in accordance with the Centre’s current fee schedule.
  • Families are responsible for ensuring fees are paid on time, regardless of attendance.
  • Services Australia administers Child Care Subsidy (CCS) eligibility and entitlements. The Centre may provide information, but does not determine subsidy approval.
  • Fees, schedules, or payment methods may change with reasonable notice.

5. Notice Periods and Cancellations

  • A notice period may apply when reducing days or withdrawing from care.
  • Failure to provide the required notice may result in fees being charged instead of notice.
  • Enrolment bonds or advance payments, where applicable, are managed in accordance with legislation.

6. Health, Safety, and Child Well-being

  • The Centre follows the Victorian Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework, and relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Children who are unwell or pose a health risk to others may be required to remain at home.
  • Medication administration, allergies, and medical conditions must be disclosed and documented before attendance.
  • Families must keep the Centre informed of any changes affecting a child’s health, safety, or well-being.

7. Educator Ratios and Supervision

The Centre endeavours to maintain educator-to-child ratios and supervision practices in line with legislative requirements. Variations may occur due to operational or emergency circumstances.

8. Behaviour Guidance and Family Responsibilities

  • The Centre applies positive, age-appropriate behaviour guidance strategies.
  • Families are expected to act respectfully toward staff, children, and other families.
  • Aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour toward staff or others may result in enrolment review or termination.

9. Website Use and Content

  • All content on this website is provided for general information purposes only.
  • While reasonable care is taken to keep information accurate and up to date, content may change without notice.
